This statistic illustrates the results of a survey that compares the usage of different banking methods in Australia over a four week period in the six months to October 2018. During the time periods examined, internet banking via a website was the most popular method of accessing financial services with 47.1 percent of respondents stating that they had used this method in the last four weeks. By comparison, the least popular method was telephone banking with around 13.6 percent of respondents that stated to have used this channel as major banking method in the last month.
